Leading Ladies provide Middle School and High School females with education and prevention services that will guide them into womanhood. The program runs according to the academic school year and is currently being provided at The South Ozone Park Beacon at MS 226 in South Ozone Park, New York. Up to 20 “Leading Ladies” are selected to participant in the 10-month program. Eligible participants will be those young ladies that have exhibited “un-lady” like behaviors, such as: disrespectful, disorderly conduct, low – mid academic achievements, low self-esteem, appearance, etc. All participants, along with their parents, sign a contract agreeing to the rules and regulations of the program.
